Last weekend I upgraded it to Windows 10 Home 64x and everything went well, except for my wifi. The point is, I cannot activate my wifi - neither via button nor via system options. According to that issue, there are no wifis displayed. Nevertheless, my wifi-card is displayed as active (with latest driver) on the device manager and it is the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030.

Just hooked up the eero. Works awesome. The whole house is getting over 100MBps. All devices have connected except for one Dell Inspiron Laptop. It has an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 Wireless adapter. From what I have read, this is a very cheap wireless card, and only supports 2.4 ghz. For some reason this laptop will not connect. I have tried forgetting the network in Network settings, but that hasn't helped. I have updated the driver, that didn't help either. I'm not sure if the failure is due to the band, or something else. Has anyone else had issues with this card, or have any suggestions?
AFAIR Wireshark (actually, WinPCAP) was never able to capture packets in promiscous (do you actually mean monitor?) mode on Windows. It was even not able to capture from WiFi interface at all for a long time, because "something is wrong with how windows network drivers work" (according to wipcap faq). At that time, every freaking sniffer was able to capture from Wifi interfaces (e.g., CommView) but not WinPCAP based sniffers.
